- Thermo Fisher Scientific
Nature of work:
- Performs purchases and manages costs for suppliers in accordance with the company's policy of saving resources, operational efficiency and transparency.
- Implements savings projects, offers ideas for new projects.
- Develops and implements a supplier management strategy in order to improve supplier delivery on time (OTD, OTIF), reduce quality problems, and improve the efficiency of the supplier base.
- Communicates and builds relationships with suppliers based on business ethics, trust and timely feedback.
- Solves supplier pricing, quality or service issues.
- Prepares and executes procurement tenders.
- Prepares a strategy for negotiations with suppliers and conducts negotiations.
- Coordinates and signs purchase/supply contracts with suppliers, updates existing contracts.
- Collaborates with marketing, operations, logistics, finance, quality assurance and research and development departments to improve company performance.
- Prepares reports to management on procurement/supply issues.
- Prepares and stores procurement documents in an orderly and timely manner.
Requirements:
- Higher university education (economics, finance, business management, process management).
- Work experience in purchasing/supply position.
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office, ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to analyze large volumes of data, make decisions based on analysis.
- Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written English skills.
- Project management experience.
