WHAT WILL YOUR JOB BE:
- Actively participate in negotiations with the owners of private forests in determining the conditions and contractual relations of wood purchase;
- Maintain existing trade relations and look for new suppliers of round wood;
- Collect and manage all the necessary information in the company's systems, complete the necessary documentation;
- To control the quality and quantities of raw materials received, to make decisions regarding the return of defective raw materials to suppliers within the limits of competence;
- Respond quickly to emerging problems and situations in order to ensure a smooth wood procurement process;
- Prepare and submit reports to the Direct Manager according to the established procedure.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Higher education (Forestry field would be an advantage);
- Experience in supply or procurement, participating in negotiations with business partners and the ability to ensure successful conclusion of contracts;
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to efficiently manage information and documents, creativity in finding effective solutions;
- Quick response to changes and ability to work in a dynamic work environment, orientation to results
- Good computer skills;
- Experience in the wood industry, wood processing or logistics (transport organization) would be a great advantage.
