We are looking for:
An experienced Baltic Procurement Manager to join the Itella Baltic organization!
You will be responsible for sourcing of goods and services from suppliers to meet the needs of Itella departments in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
Your role will be to ensure that defined sourcing processes are used throughout Itella teams in the Baltic and implemented by our parent company, Posti Group, following procedures in Finland.
Our sourcing/procurement team members are based in Tallinn and in Helsinki, your location will be Vilnius or Kaunas.
We work in a hybrid mode, so you can work both from home and from the office location.
You will be responsible for sourcing of goods and services from suppliers to meet the needs of Itella departments in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

What you will be doing as a Baltic Procurement Manager:
- Handling various sourcing activities, such as selecting suppliers, running tenders, and negotiating with chosen suppliers in close cooperation with functional departments of Itella Baltic.
- Collaborating with key individuals to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
- Examining and testing existing contracts.
- Supporting all sourcing and purchasing activities in the Baltics.
- Contribute to developing and constantly improving the procurement process to meet organizational needs.
- Analyzing Baltic market trends, customer behavior, and data to make recommendations based on these.
- Joining the Global Sourcing Excellence team as one member to drive Sourcing Sustainability work in Baltic countries
What we would like from you:
- A proven track record of success in Procurement Manager, Sourcing Manager, or a related role, preferably in an international environment and with virtual teams.
- Work experience in the logistics business is a significant advantage.
- Proven skills in contract negotiation.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to apply and create guidelines.
- A keen interest in working with figures and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.
- The ability to understand and manage processes.
- Flexibility in work style.
- Excellent knowledge of English and Lithuanian languages (both written and spoken).
- Knowledge of Latvian or Estonian language is a big advantage.
