Your daily tasks, responsibilities and duties at work would be:
Strategic responsibility for certain commodities;
Ensuring material cost targets are met;
Close cooperation with our development team in order to optimize product costs;
Contribute in the definition and implementation of the supply chain management strategy;
Definition and implementation of product group strategies in the area of responsibility;
Supplier management including supplier scouting, supplier selection and contract management;
Conduct global benchmarks and tenders;
Risk management for the product groups and suppliers to be managed;
Regular reporting and optimization of reporting structures;
Escalation level for material planning in the event of critical material bottlenecks.
Ensuring material cost targets are met;

What do we expect from you:
Completed economics or technical studies or comparable training;
Several years of professional experience (at least 3 years), ideally in comparable commodities such as aluminum, steel, hydraulic and/or electronic components;
Good knowledge of SAP MM;
Fluent in English Strong negotiation and communication skills;
Analytical skills as well as a reliable, structured and solution-oriented way of working;
High problem-solving skills and hands-on mentality.
Several years of professional experience (at least 3 years), ideally in comparable commodities such as aluminum, steel, hydraulic and/or electronic components;
Good knowledge of SAP MM;
