The area in which you improved: you will participate in the implementation of international development cooperation projects financed by the European Union (hereinafter - the EU), you will contribute to reforms in various fields in various countries.

The first project in which we are waiting for your involvement is "Support for Public Finance Management in Ukraine" (EU4PFM). This is an exceptional project implemented by CPVA, funded by the EU, both in terms of its scope (PFM I - EUR 37 million; PFM II - EUR 13.5 million) and ambitious goals - to improve the management of Ukraine's public finances, ensure quality public service provision and attractive environment for business, to develop a modern, fair and efficient tax collection system and to support institutions in the field of public financial management in the field of strengthening their organizational capabilities. The project team, consisting of CPVA colleagues and international experts, is waiting for reinforcements in this meaningful work.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • to coordinate the planning and implementation of project activities in cooperation with the project team, made up of project experts and CPVA employees, to solve project-related issues;
  • prepare documents (letters, contracts, certificates, etc.) related to the implementation of project activities;
  • within the scope of the project manager's competence, plan the need for services/goods necessary for the implementation of project activities and initiate public procurement;
  • participate in the preparation of documents for public procurement/market consultation, if necessary - participate in the work of the public procurement commission;
  • perform supervision of service/goods contracts necessary for the implementation of project activities;
  • promptly and constructively communicate with project team members, EU delegations in relevant countries, institutional partners in the country of project implementation, participating Lithuanian institutions, etc.;
  • organize events related to project activities, familiarization visits, actively engage in project publicity activities;
  • participate in the process of preparing project reports: prepare and/or coordinate materials required for reports, as well as systematize project information.

WE HOPE THAT:

  • able to communicate fluently and effectively, both verbally and in writing, respond quickly and flexibly, plan and organize work, work both independently and in a team;
  • desire to learn and improve;
  • has a higher education, preferably in the fields of law, public administration, international relations, management, economics;
  • fluent in Lithuanian (written and spoken) and English (level B2 and higher).

The following previous experience will help you:

  • administering international projects or participating in their implementation;
  • working in the public sector.
  • having the basics of the Russian language.

WHAT ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Employment - work according to an employment contract. We will sign employment documents electronically;
  • Before employment - we will ask you to submit a declaration of private interests and a health check;
  • Trial period - 3 months. During it, you will be assigned a curator, we will invite you to training for newcomers, we will provide you with all the information you need to do the work, so that the adaptation goes smoothly;
  • Conflicts of interest - upon employment at CPVA, you will not be able to participate in work, financial, commercial or other activities outside of CPVA that cause or may cause a conflict of public and private interests and/or are related to projects administered by CPVA, projects prepared and implemented by public-private partnerships;
