Nature of work

  • Plan and ensure the implementation of RAA equipment, technical maintenance, repair and testing of Transmission Network objects;
  • analyze and control the compliance of relay protection implementation schemes, provisions, characteristics with the existing network configuration and working modes;
  • to organize the purchases of goods and services necessary for the needs of the RAA department, which meet the requirements of the law on public procurement;
  • work in a team, achieve common goals when working in different parts of Lithuania.

Employee requirements

  • higher education (in the fields of electrical engineering, automation);
  • practical experience in carrying out equipment repair, technical maintenance, testing works;
  • ability to evaluate the operation of RAA devices;
  • understanding of the operating principles of RAA devices of the transmission network. Understanding and ability to check the operating principles of electrotechnical, microprocessor and remote control (high frequency and optical channels) transmission devices;
  • the ability to analyze and control the compliance of relay protection implementation schemes, provisions, characteristics with the current network configuration and working modes;
  • be able to read and understand technical literature in English;
  • leadership skills, analytical thinking, initiative;
  • ability to promptly and independently solve problems;
  • excellent working skills with MS Office programs;
  • excellent Lithuanian language skills (written, spoken).

Advantages:

  • Experience in RAA design or adjustment of control systems in transformer substations of the electricity transmission/distribution network;
  • experience in combining SIEMENS, ABB, GENERAL ELECTRIC and other manufacturers' microprocessor RAA devices with their software, knowledge of the operating principles of these devices;
  • expert knowledge in the field of RAA;
  • knowledge of electrical energy objects and devices, normative technical requirements and the ability to follow them;
  • good command of English.
