About the role:
We are seeking for Senior Accountant for our Countries Accounting I unit which is responsible for accounting for several branches of the bank. You will play a key role in daily, monthly and yearly processes for Helsinki Branch and leasing company in Helsinki. You will closely work with multiple stakeholders within Global Finance, which represents a great opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of the General Accounting department in a rapidly growing digital organisation.

About the role:

As a Senior accountant you will be responsible for:
- Flawless execution of Record-to-Report transactional activities
- Ensure period-end closing procedures and preparation of the financial reporting
- Perform P/L and BS controls, Internal Controls for Financial Reporting (ICFR) and other reporting
- Drive the resolution of more complex queries raised by employees, managers, finance partners other internal and external stakeholders, auditors
- Prepare VAT, Corporate income tax, other applicable taxes
- Stakeholder management – participation in the meetings, escalation and solution of issues, alignment of expectations and cooperation
- Assist and train employees in team in completing their work as you would have at least one accountant supporting your job
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- Plus 3 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Degree in Finance/Accounting
- Matured attitude towards challenges, problem solving and creative in terms of improving ways of working, handling complex information
- Being friendly, proactive, approachable, and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity
- Ability to work under the time pressure
- Ability to work in the team and independently
- Great communication skills and fluency in English

Monthly salary range for this position: 2400 - 3600 EUR before tax deduction. The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
