Senior Accountant

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting, budgeting and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset. Candidate is required to work on-site in Lithuania, Vilnius office and is ready to lead a small team of 2 accountants.

Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Accounting for costs associated with the purchase and export of goods
Inventory accounting: purchases, sales, write-offs, inventory checks;
Control of payments and settlements;
Preparation and submission of financial, tax, and statistical reports to financial and state institutions;

3+ years' of professional accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
Knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws regulated by VAS and TAS
Good skills in working with the RIVILE accounting program would be an advantage
Initiative, independence, attention to detail, diligence, ability to solve problems quickly
Good computer skills (especially proficiency in basic MS Excel functions and their active application)
Experience with PowerBI would be an advantage.
