Main Responsibilities
- Performing daily bookkeeping: purchase and sales invoice of assigned company registers, GL entries, accruals, fixed asset/goods accounting;
- Keeping complete accounting records of the company: GL account adjustments and allocations;
- Handling payroll duties, including calculation, payment and administering changes in the payroll system;
- Accounting banking transactions;
- Controlling and approving payments (payroll, invoices, taxes and other);
- Reconciling balance with suppliers;
- Participating and performing assigned tasks in period-close procedures;
- Performing reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts;
- Performing internal controls within own area;
- Handling inquires and responding to queries in a timely manner;
- Providing support during the audits and liaising with external auditors;
- Executing all other position related tasks delegated by direct manager.
Core Requirements
- At least 3 years of previous work experience as an accountant with payroll duties;
- Higher education degree in Finance/Accounting or other relevant fields;
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Lithuanian tax and accounting regulations;
- Oral and written knowledge of English (B2);
- Business Central or Navision experience would be a great advantage;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Flexibility, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn;
- Solution oriented, problem-solving skills;
- Teamwork and co-operation skills in a multi-cultural organization.
