This is a unique opportunity to join our great team as Senior PHP Developer.
What you’ll do
What you’ll do
- Develop, maintain, and enhance banking applications using PHP with a focus on the Phalcon framework.
- Expert management and use of database systems, specifically MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with internal banking team to understand their technical requirements and deliver bespoke software solutions.
- Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of applications.
- Lead in code reviews, optimization, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Mentor junior developers and lead by example in technical and professional aspects.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in PHP development, banking technologies, and database management.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Extensive experience with the Phalcon framework.
- Strong proficiency in both MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining applications for the banking or financial services sector.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC design patterns.
- Knowledgeable in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, React or Vue).
- Experience with version control tools, such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with other PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.).
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance issues.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Skills in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and algorithmic thinking.
- Experience in Fintech / E-Money or Payments.
