Charity and support fund "Maisto bankas" is one of the largest non-governmental organizations in Lithuania. The main goal of our activity is to save as much edible food as possible from being thrown away and give it to those in need.
We are currently looking for team reinforcement in the Klaipėda branch.

We are currently looking for team reinforcement in the Klaipėda branch.
What should be done?
- Advise beneficiaries about possible ways of obtaining food aid;
- Collect the documents of beneficiaries, necessary for receiving food aid;
- Submit beneficiary questionnaires to the municipality's social support department;
- Inform beneficiaries about the decision taken by the municipality regarding the allocation of support;
- Record beneficiaries who have withdrawn and who have not withdrawn support;
- To contact beneficiaries who do not receive the allocated support;
- Based on the established criteria and methodology, make decisions to terminate, extend or suspend the provision of support to the beneficiaries;
- Prepare a monthly service provision report and submit it to the municipality at the established periodicity.
You will do well in this job if you:
- You have a higher education in social work;
- You are able to plan and implement your activities independently, but at the same time you feel good working in a team;
- You work freely with a computer (especially the Excel program);
- You are flexible and quickly orient yourself in unexpected situations;
- You are empathetic, patient and enjoy interacting with people.

"Maisto bankas" is a charity and support fund that has been operating in Lithuania for twenty years, the main goal of which is to reduce food waste and promote the transfer of suitable food products to the needy. In cooperation with food producers and traders, we aim to ensure that edible food products are not disposed of, but reach the tables of people living in poverty.
