Nature of work
- Compilation of WPS, PQR and instructions (selection of welding method, materials and equipment);
- Quality control and assurance of welding works and processes performed at the facility;
- Creation and implementation of existing and new welding technological processes;
- Selection and implementation control of trainings for welders and work managers related to welding;
- Evaluation and testing of welders' qualifications.
Employee requirements
- Higher education (preferably in the field of engineering or welding technology);
- Work experience as a welding engineer in construction - installation companies (at least 2 years);
- International Diploma of Welding Engineer (IWE) (advantage);
- VT-2 inspection control certificate of welded seams (advantage);
- Good ability to read drawings;
- To know well the technical parameters of welding processes and welding equipment;
- Oral and written knowledge of English (required);
- Computer literacy;
- Driver's license (advantage);
- Good knowledge of ASME, EN ISO standards related to welding work and control.
