Nature of work
Inspection and testing of welds by non-destructive (NDT) methods and other technical works. Periodic business trips to other countries.
Employee requirements
Secondary education / professional qualification / higher-higher technical education.
We accept employees who have just finished their studies, and we give them the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the testing methods performed by the laboratory. After gaining experience, employees are sent to study abroad for NDT specialist qualifications.
We also invite NDT specialists who already have level 1, 2 or 3 certificates according to the EN ISO 9712 standard, to whom we can immediately offer a job abroad.
Reliability, organization, diligence, responsibility, ability to perform independently assigned tasks.
Willingness to work and improve, internal motivation.
Knowledge of English is required.
A category B driver's license is required

The minimum salary of a starting employee without qualification in Lithuania is from 1000 EUR in hand + per diem. After obtaining the NDT specialist qualification, employees have the opportunity to go to work abroad, where the salary starts from 3500 EUR per month in hand. The duration of business trips is from 2 to 4 weeks (or longer if the employee wishes).

Since 2007, the Lithuanian National Accreditation Bureau certifies that the quality management system implemented in the UAB "Metesta" testing laboratory meets the requirements of the LST EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard for testing laboratories and the laboratory is accredited to perform inspection control (VT), radiographic (RT), ultrasonic tests (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), penetrant (PT), tightness (LT) and ultrasonic thickness measurement (UTT) non-destructive testing.
We also perform:
PMI - determination of the chemical composition of metals by optical-emission and X-ray-fluorescence method;
PWHT - accompanying and thermal processing of welded joints;
HT – metal hardness measurements;
UTTH - ultrasonic thickness measurements;
