In this role, you will:
- Setting up tools and required infrastructure;
- Managing infrastructures resources with VMware;
- Maintenance of IT infrastructure and ensuring smooth operation;
- Service and configuration of the network and service stations;
- Ensuring/monitoring/testing backup copies of data;
- System troubleshooting;
- Maintaining Linux and windows servers (80% Linux);
- IT infrastructure documentation.
What will you bring:
- Experience in working with Linux (Debian/Ubuntu);
- Experience working on Linux and Windows based infrastructure (focus on Linux);
- Mid-level understanding of scripting languages (Bash, Python);
- Experience with VMware server management.
It would be nice if you:
- Good understanding on Network Technologies on Unix-based systems (IPv4, routing, bridging, proxies, DNS);
- Experience with Unix network tools and tunneling protocols (iptables, ipsets, nftables, Bind/powerDNS, OpenVPN, IPSec);
- Know-how on server management using infrastructure as a code tools (Ansible and Terraform preferably);
- Have DBA experience (MariaDB, MongoDB);
- Experience with container environments (Docker).
