Nature of work
- Cultivation of microorganisms in flasks and fermenters;
- Preparation and sterilization of nutritional media;
- Working with fermenters, centrifuges, etc.;
- Technical and physical activities with production equipment: operation and maintenance, weight lifting up to 25 kg, therefore an employee ready for physical activity is expected;
- Preparation of documentation;
- Working in shifts (40 hours/week)
Employee requirements
- Higher education (in the fields of bioengineering, biochemistry, biology, microbiology or biotechnology);
- Good knowledge of Lithuanian and English (oral and written);
- Computer literacy;
- Diligence, responsibility, honesty, duty;
- Ability to work independently, systematize and summarize information;
- Knowledge and experience of documentation;
- Experience of working in a laboratory (advantage).
