Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Manage the legal department (6-8 employees). Organization and supervision of the smooth work of the department, assignment and control of tasks.;
  • To form strategic directions and policies for the development of good corporate governance, to form practices in these areas at the Group level;
  • Constantly look for and implement solutions that make daily activities more efficient;
  • Ensure the smooth preparation, analysis and coordination of the Company's operating contracts and other company documents;
  • Provide legal advice on company activity issues;
  • Organize and control the preparation of the company's internal documents, ensuring their compliance with the applicable legal acts;
  • Represent the company's interests in various institutions and courts. Supervise the work of external consultants, lawyers, advocates hired by the company;
  • Assess and manage the company's legal risks and provide recommendations for improving the legal department's activities;
  • Monitor changes in legislation at the national and European level;
  • To advise the company's employees and the management team on relevant legal issues, to make proposals on the application of legal acts, to form the company's official practice of interpretation and uniform application of contract provisions.

We are looking for a colleague who:

  • Has a university (legal) education. Master's degree in law preferred.
  • Has at least 5 years of work experience in the field of law (work experience in a large organization is an advantage);
  • Has work experience in the role of team leader, is able to efficiently organize work, provide feedback and delegate tasks to subordinate employees, is focused on high-quality team results;
  • Has expert knowledge in the fields of private, public and procedural law; Knows national and international legislation related to road freight transportation (Road Transport Code, CMR Convention, legislation constituting the Mobility Package, international and national legislation regulating the work of drivers engaged in international freight transportation, etc.);
  • Can speak English (written and spoken). Russian is an advantage.

Salary

4200-4500 €/mon. gross
Salary will depend on the candidate's work experience and results and will be further discussed and agreed upon during negotiations with the selected candidate.
