AREA OF IMPROVEMENT:

you will solve various legal issues that arise during the administration and implementation of large-budget international projects, you will prepare contracts, you will participate in the process of providing subsidies, thus contributing to significant reforms financed by the European Union (hereinafter - the EU) and other donors in different countries.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • participate in the preparation of contracts (subsidy contracts, contribution agreements, etc.), amendments and terminations of projects financed by the EU or another donor (hereinafter referred to as the project);
  • prepare joint activity agreements, cooperation agreements with Lithuanian and foreign (institutional) partners, agreements on the use of state budget funds, etc., their amendments and terminations;
  • provide legal advice on project implementation issues;
  • perform an assessment of compliance with established requirements of contracts prepared by other employees of the department, necessary for the implementation of project activities (e.g. contracts for the purchase of goods or services);
  • participate in the process of providing subsidies by providing legal conclusions and complying with the established requirements of the prepared documents;
  • participate in the preparation of procedures and internal procedures regulating the department's activities.

WE HOPE YOU:

  • you work in an organized, prompt, thorough, responsible and attentive manner;
  • able to work both independently and in a team, willing to constantly learn and improve;
  • has a higher education, preferably in the field of law;
  • able to express ideas fluently and correctly in writing and orally in Lithuanian and learn English at least at B2 level;
  • able to work with a computer, office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).

THE FOLLOWING PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WOULD HELP YOU:

  • legal work, especially in the public sector and/or with international projects;
  • when organizing, executing and/or supervising EU or other donors' support allocation processes.
  • applying the practical guide for procurement of EU services, goods and works according to the procurement procedures of external programs of the European Union (Procurement And Grants for European Union external actions – A Practical Guide).

  • Trial period - 3 months. During it, you will be assigned a curator, we will invite you to training for newcomers, we will provide you with all the information you need to do the work, so that the adaptation goes smoothly;
