Nature of work

The manager organizes smooth, continuous engineering-technical and production activities in the field of mechanics. Manages subordinate structural units, is responsible for their economic and financial activities, their consistent work, accounting of completed works, efficiency analysis, presentation of obscured data, quality of completed works. The manager is responsible for improving the working conditions of his subordinates and maintaining an orderly production base, forming and maintaining a good microclimate in the team. Supervises and is responsible for compliance with work and production discipline, compliance with occupational safety, fire safety, environmental protection and other requirements of work-regulating documents. Effectively uses the company's entrusted resources, plans the need for materials, equipment and means for their repair, strives for economical use of fuel, energy resources, and other material resources. Contributes to the submission of proposals, preparation of the company's strategy and participates in the implementation of measures to ensure effective management of operations. Ensures activities in accordance with assigned competence, coordination with clients (department, group managers/specialists) and exchange of information necessary for work and proper preparation of documents. Prepares and submits proposals for the sale of services/products, calculates and provides estimates to the customer. Prepares and executes applications for the purchase of goods/services in accordance with the company's established procedures, coordinates tenders' technical conditions. Prepares documents according to the established procedure, provides mandatory accounting data and is responsible for timely implementation of work and organizational measures in accordance with plans, control acts, other work-regulating and company organizational and administrative documents. Participates in the preparation of instructions, routines, procedures, trains and instructs subordinate personnel.

Employee requirements

  • Higher technical education and at least 5 years of work experience in the field of production and management;
  • Knowledge and application of mechanical production activities, general and special construction works, as well as their quality and impact on the environment;
  • Must know the requirements of documents regulating safe work and health at work, as well as environmental regulations; legislative and normative legal acts determining the directions of development of the relevant branch of production;
  • Organizational and administrative work skills;
  • Responsibility, initiative, ability to apply advanced work initiatives in practice,
  • Features of leader;
  • Ability to manage conflict situations;
  • Discretion and confidentiality;
  • Good negotiation skills;
  • Ability to lead a team;
  • Knowledge of foreign languages (English, Russian);
  • Good computer literacy;
  • category B driver's license;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Lithuanian language.
