Nature of work
- Perform loading work in the warehouse and collecting/delivering food aid;
- Smoothly accept support, store, reload, coordinate issuing processes;
- Safely transport "Maisto bankas" support according to agreed routes/schedules, following road traffic rules;
- Respectfully represent the "Food Bank" at support collection/transfer points when communicating with representatives of sponsors, recipients, partners;
- Perform quality and quantity control of transported products. Administer transportation documents;
- Supervise the department's car and warehouse management, perform technical maintenance and maintain cleanliness and order in cars and the warehouse.
Workplace: Pramonės pr. 16B, Urmos town, Kaunas
This job will suit you if:
- You are able to plan and implement your activities independently, but at the same time you feel good working in a team;
- You understand the most common car breakdowns / general mechanical knowledge is an advantage;
- You understand about storage processes;
- You are flexible and quickly orient yourself in unexpected situations;
- You like to communicate with people;
- You have a category B license (preferably driving experience - 2 years).

In cooperation with food producers and traders, we aim to ensure that edible food products are not disposed of, but reach the tables of people living in poverty.
