Nature of work

  • collect and systematize energy sector data, perform energy sector analysis and modeling based on them;
  • evaluate, model and forecast energy sector data;
  • to identify and analyze the needs of information system development and process optimization:
  • perform an analysis of the need for updating information systems;
  • identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement, evaluate them and make suggestions for technical implementation;
  • prepare and coordinate technical requirements and tasks for information technology specialists for information system development, process optimization;
  • coordinate the implementation processes of updating information systems;
  • to carry out research work, to prepare reports and informative messages about the energy sector;
  • prepare reports on the achievement of strategic goals of the energy sector, the results of implemented policy measures;
  • according to competence, participate in the Agency's preparation and implementation of energy sector projects financed by the EU, other international financial support and the state budget;
  • to prepare and implement the projects carried out by the Agency related to the energy sector in accordance with competence;
  • to represent the Agency at meetings, conferences, seminars organized by other state institutions and organizations, at meetings organized by other states and international organizations and institutions, at work meetings of European Union institutions.

Employee requirements

  • higher university education or an equivalent education in the field of technological sciences or physical sciences or social sciences;
  • at least 1 year of experience in analysis, design, modeling or project management of energy or other technical disciplines;
  • at least 1 year of experience working with databases and information systems;
  • be able to use data analysis software and data management programs;
  • knowledge of the English language at a level not lower than B2;
  • Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania and the European Union regulating energy;
  • familiarization with the national energy system, interest in the development of the energy sector and news;
  • very good computer skills;
  • the ability to fluently teach ideas in writing and orally, to analyze and summarize information, to draw conclusions;
  • orientation to the result, initiative, responsibility;
  • independence, attention to details, analytical thinking, thoroughness, organization;
  • to be able to independently plan and organize one's activities.

We would consider it an advantage:
  • experience in data collection and analysis;
  • the ability to assess and model energy sector development trends;
  • the ability to create algorithms, models from small and large-scale data.
