We will entrust you with the following responsibilities:

  • in accordance with the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating internal audit activities, internal legal acts of the Bank group and international standards of professional practice and ethics of internal audit, ensure the performance of the internal audit function and activities related to internal audit in the Bank group;
  • plan, organize and coordinate the activities of the Internal Audit Department;
  • inform the management of the Bank group about the significant risks assumed by the Bank group, control and supervision problems and other matters of concern or importance to the management;
  • consult the Bank's group units on issues of organization and improvement of internal control processes, risk management;
  • as needed, coordinate activities with the Bank's external auditors, employees of the Bank of Lithuania performing inspections (inspections), officials of other controlling institutions and inform the Bank's Audit Committee about it.

We need you if you:

  • you are at least 5 years old. work experience in the field of internal audit, including at least 2 years work experience in management positions;
  • you are at least 2 years old. work experience in a bank (implementing internal audit, compliance or risk management assessment functions);
  • you have obtained a higher university education (in the fields of finance, economics or public administration, law);
  • you have obtained a certificate of completion of CIA, CRMA, internal auditor qualification training of the Lithuanian Association of Internal Auditors (other international certificates in the areas of audit, finance, risk management would be an advantage);
  • you constantly raise your qualifications in the field of internal audit;
  • you have a good knowledge of internal audit standards, theory and methodologies and are able to effectively apply them in practice;
  • you have a good knowledge of legal acts (LR laws, LB resolutions, EU directives, etc.) regulating bank management, internal control and risk management systems, and operational processes;
  • you understand international accounting standards, you are able to analyze financial statements, understand planning processes, evaluate performance results;
  • you are able to collect, analyze and summarize information, identify possible risks and their significance, draw conclusions and provide recommendations;
  • you have skills and experience in planning and organizing the work of the internal audit department;
  • you have excellent communication skills, cooperating with other departments, communicating with management, supervising institutions;
  • you speak Lithuanian very well, you have good knowledge of English.
