Nature of work
- Ensure compliance with the technological, sanitary and hygienic requirements of poultry farming;
- Organize and ensure the availability, control and improvement of bird breeding and care indicators;
- To improve cultivation processes;
- When working in a team, organize and control the activities of subordinate employees and departments.
Employee requirements
- Higher education of animal husbandry technologist or veterinarian;
- Successful experience of at least 2 years of similar work with leadership and work organization experience;
- Initiative, desire to work in a team and achieve the best result;
- Good skills in organizing individual and team work;
- category B driver's license;
- Good computer skills (MS Office).

UAB "Rumšiškių paukštynas" was one of the first in Lithuania to start using modern imported chicken incubation and bird feeding-watering and microclimate maintenance techniques. Modernization projects of chicken hatchery, broiler and breeding poultry farms were implemented with the help of European support funds. The fodder production workshop has also been modernized, so the poultry farm currently supplies its own fodder and supplies its departments with them.
