Nature of work
We are looking for a person to lead and coordinate a public care service provider that works with people with disabilities and special needs. persons with needs.
- Conclusion of employment contracts, periodic interviews with employees;
- Organization and control of activities;
- To control how work discipline is observed. Allocate daily work to employees of the institution. Compile the work and vacation schedules of the institution's employees and control their implementation;
- Maintaining a good working environment;
- Providing employees with work tools;
- Maintaining good operational results, seeking continuous improvement of the institution's results;
- Optimal distribution of costs;
- Developing a long-term activity strategy;
- Ordering goods, communicating with suppliers;
- Communication with clients and partners;
- Performing the functions of providing direct services, in case of need to ensure the continuous operation of the company;
- Carrying out other instructions of the director.
Employee requirements
- Higher or equivalent education in social work in the field of social science studies;
- At least 3 years of managerial social work experience;
- Work experience in a budgetary or other state institution would be considered an advantage;
- Good computer literacy skills ie. i.e. work with Word, Excel and other programs;
- Strong internal and external communication skills, proactivity and quick orientation;
- Leadership, team management or other administrative experience would be a strong advantage.
The executive director must know:
- Basic legal and financial conditions of economic and commercial activity;
- Legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating the proper implementation of health care institutions, work organization and the services provided in them, resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, orders of the Minister of Social Security and Labor and other legal acts regulating the planning, organization, financing of social services, quality assessment and control, including but not limited to the Law on Public Institutions of the Republic of Lithuania, the Labor Code of the Republic of Lithuania, and the rules for the preparation of documents;
- Management principles of the institution, specifics of the institution's work;
- Requirements for employee safety and health, fire safety, electrical safety, protection system;
- The institution's range of services;
- Basics of communication psychology.
