Purpose of the position: In accordance with the rules, annual plans and legislation of the Financial Services Supervision Department and the Payment and Electronic Money Institutions Supervision Division, we conduct supervision to reduce the financial risks of supervised institutions. We evaluate their activities, prepare analyses, review licensing documents and provide comments to ensure that these institutions are sound and financially stable, and that all parties involved are properly informed about their oversight.

We will trust you:

  • continuous prudential supervision of supervised institutions;

  • intensive supervision of the most risky and systemically important supervised institutions;

  • perform inspections of supervised institutions in the field of prudential supervision;

  • to analyze the information provided by the supervised institutions, determining the possible financial risks of the supervised institutions or non-compliance with laws and other legal acts, to make proposals regarding the management and supervision of these risks;

  • examination of licensing applications of established supervised institutions, examination of notifications regarding electronic money and asset-linked tokens, evaluation of managers;

  • counseling of interested persons on the activities and supervision of supervised institutions;

  • improving the regulation of activities of supervised institutions and their supervision;

  • representation in the activities of the working groups of the Bank of Lithuania, international and state institutions.



We hope you have:

  • higher university education (an advantage in finance, accounting, economics, business management, mathematical sciences or related fields);

  • at least 1 year of similar work experience;

  • knowledge bases of business accounting standards, international financial reporting standards;

  • good skills in working with MS Office programs;

  • good knowledge of English;

  • the ability to fluently convey ideas orally and in writing;

  • initiative, creativity, ability to work both independently and in a team, conscientiousness, diligence, desire to improve.



Advantages:

  • Knowledge of the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, resolutions of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania and other legal acts, European Union legal acts (PSD2, EMD2, CRR, MiCA) regulating the activities of supervised institutions;
