We will trust you:

  • actively search for new insights in the analysis and monitoring of the financial system, identifying risks arising in the financial system in a timely manner;
  • to conduct or coordinate detailed investigations on financial stability issues;
  • prepare or coordinate analytical reports, reviews, public comments and presentations on financial stability topics;
  • to communicate to the public the position of the Bank of Lithuania on financial stability issues;
  • to make proposals regarding the improvement directions of financial stability analysis at the Bank of Lithuania;
  • participate in expert or task groups of Lithuanian and international institutions, representing the Bank of Lithuania.



We hope you have:

  • higher university education in the field of economics, finance, econometrics, mathematics or statistics (master's degree, preferably a doctorate degree or doctoral studies);
  • at least 3 years of experience in economic and/or financial sector analysis or a similar field (advantage – experience in analyzing company and bank data);
  • excellent knowledge in finance, economics and banking;
  • good skills in MS Office programs;
  • skills of at least one econometric computer program (EViews, R, Stata, Matlab, etc.);
  • the ability to effectively analyze large-scale data and provide conclusions or proposals;
  • the ability to independently and qualitatively prepare and present analytical material, fluently and logically teach ideas orally and in writing in Lithuanian and English;
  • the ability to coordinate tasks or projects of a larger department or unit;
  • the following skills: responsibility, orientation to the result, creativity, initiative, ability to work in a team and in an international environment, effective management of work time and priorities.



Advantages:

  • working or scientific articles in Lithuanian and foreign scientific journals.

Other information:

  • the amount of the salary depends on the available competences and work experience. DU range: 3618 - 5300 Eur (gross).
