We are inviting a Senior Engineer to join the rolling stock repair technology team. We hope that with a new team member we will be able to achieve more efficient repair processes by implementing the most effective technological solutions. Updating repair bases, technological equipment and tools in them are the main challenges of this position.

Position description



  • Organize the preparation of repair technical documentation according to the formed technological policy (technological processes, equipment layout maps, technological movement maps of repair positions (workflow))
  • Design and create non-standard purpose equipment using design knowledge
  • Analyze equipment and tools inventory documents, analyze their condition, efficiency of use and the possibilities of the latest equipment solutions
  • Prepare recommendations for equipment and tool changes, new acquisitions or improvement of work processes
  • Creating a periodic maintenance and repair system by analyzing the equipment and tools condition documentation
  • Search the market for the latest equipment solutions that would ensure efficient and ergonomic work of employees
  • Organize installation, adjustment and testing of equipment and tools
  • Create and ensure innovative tools and digitization solutions for technological information management



Your expertise and experience



  • Higher education (preferably in the field of technology/engineering sciences)
  • Work experience in the field of engineering
  • Knowledge of production repair processes/products, knowledge of technical equipment
  • Knowledge of clerical and document preparation rules
  • Excellent computer skills (knowledge of work, MS Office programs, able to manage CAD programs)
  • Ability to read drawings, diagrams
  • Ability to work in different stressful and critical situations
  • Fluent in Lithuanian, good English or Russian language skills
