CHILDREN'S RIGHTS DEFENDER IN ALL OF LITHUANIA

 To process information related to administrative decision-making or, if necessary, to coordinate the processing of information related to administrative decision-making;
 Examine requests and complaints on complex issues regarding the performance of administrative decision-making activities, prepare administrative decisions and responses or, if necessary, coordinate the examination of requests and complaints on complex issues regarding the performance of administrative decision-making activities or, if necessary, coordinate the preparation of administrative decisions and responses;
 To consult on matters of the assigned field;
 Organize the administrative decision-making process or, if necessary, coordinate the organization of the administrative decision-making process;
 Receive and serve persons or, if necessary, coordinate the reception and service of persons, if it is related to the implementation of an administrative decision;
 Prepare and provide information on complex issues related to administrative decision-making or, if necessary, coordinate the preparation and provision of information on complex issues related to administrative decision-making;
 Prepare and submit proposals on issues related to administrative decision-making;
 Prepare draft legal acts and other related documents on administrative decision-making or, if necessary, coordinate the preparation of draft legal acts and other related documents on administrative decision-making;
 To represent the interests of the child during the pre-trial investigation and/or criminal case hearing in court, to participate in the enforcement process, executing non-monetary court decisions;
 Register in the Social Family Support Information System (SPIS) data on the measures used to ensure the rights and interests of the child, which are indicated by the provisions of the information system;
 Cooperate with the municipal administration, state and municipal institutions, non-governmental organizations, participate in consultations, organize them, solve issues related to the protection of children's rights, carry out preventive activities;
 Participate in the activities of commissions and working groups related to the protection of children's rights;
 To carry out other non-permanent assignments related to the activities of the structural unit.

 have a higher university education (bachelor’s qualification degree) or an equivalent higher education qualification, field of study – social work/psychology/law/public administration/pedagogy/educology/andragogy or have a higher university education (bachelor’s qualification degree) or an equivalent higher education qualification qualification and at least 1 yr. experience in social work and/or social pedagogy work and/or child rights protection;
 have a higher college education (professional bachelor's degree) or an equivalent higher education qualification and at least 1 yr. experience in social work and/or social pedagogy work and/or child rights protection;
 be familiar with the legal acts regulating the child rights protection system;
 be able to collect, systematize, summarize and analyze information.

 Together with a team of professionals, contribute to the implementation of a particularly significant activity of the organization - to educate society in order to achieve zero tolerance for violations of children's rights, to ensure equal and clear protection of children's rights, guaranteed for every child;
 Motivational rest days, internal and external training, curator's help during the adaptation period, if necessary, free consultations by psychologists, insurance against accidents, other benefits;
 Salary from 1,606 to 1,963 euros (with taxes), as well as a bonus for length of service to the Lithuanian state. In addition, bonuses may be awarded for special tasks, increased scope of work.
