Purpose of the position: In accordance with legislation and departmental regulations, we collect data, monitor and analyze trading in crypto-assets and financial instruments. We also administer databases and systems, help create rules and guidelines, analyze complaints and advise market participants and interested parties. Our goal is to ensure the fair and transparent functioning and effective regulation of cryptoasset and financial instrument markets.

We will trust you:

  • monitor trading of crypto-assets and financial instruments and its compliance with legal requirements (prevention of market abuse);

  • to provide an opinion on the compliance of the activities of trading platforms, including those where crypto-assets or crypto-asset-related instruments are traded, with the requirements of legal acts;

  • manage information systems and databases and perform information analysis and transmission;

  • carry out inspections of persons trading crypto-assets and financial instruments in regulated trading places, as well as financial market participants;

  • examine documents for the issuance of crypto-assets, tokens with the characteristics of securities, information disclosed by service providers and issuers of regulated crypto-assets and its compliance with the requirements of legal acts;

  • advise market participants, examine complaints and inquiries, prepare answers;

  • contribute to the improvement of legal regulation;

  • participate in international or Lithuanian working groups of state institutions and interested persons.



We hope you have:

  • university education in the field of social sciences;
  • at least 2 years of work experience in fields related to crypto-assets or financial instrument markets;
  • Knowledge of the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, the Bank of Lithuania and other legal acts, the European Union's legal acts regulating the markets of crypto-assets and financial instruments, information disclosure;
  • knowledge of the basic operating principles of the cryptoasset market;
  • data analysis skills;
  • database administration skills;
  • knowledge of the main operating principles of blockchain, distributed ledger technology (DLT);
  • good skills in working with MS Office programs;
  • excellent knowledge of the English language;
  • the ability to fluently convey ideas both orally and in writing;
  • initiative, creativity, ability to work both independently and in a team, conscientiousness, diligence, desire to improve.

  • the amount of the salary depends on the available competences and work experience. DU interval: 3216 - 4020 Eur (gross);
