Nature of work
For a 2-year fixed-term employment contract (with the possibility of extension), we are looking for a work safety specialist whose nature of work would be:
- You will ensure effective and timely management and control of employee safety and health;
- You will control the compliance with mandatory legislation on occupational safety and health and fire safety in the facility, prepare and fill in the company's occupational safety and health and fire safety regulatory documents;
- You will instruct employees in accordance with the procedure established by the normative acts of safety and health and fire safety, you will organize employee training on employee safety and health issues and first aid training;
- You will organize and implement the investigation of accidents at work, incidents and occupational diseases;
- You will implement a preventive safety and health culture;
- You will organize the procedure for monitoring potentially dangerous places, ensure the control of its implementation;
- You will represent the employer in the fields of occupational safety and health and fire safety (by providing the necessary information and documents to controlling authorities, during inspections by controlling authorities, etc.);
- You will consult the company manager, employee representatives for safety and health, and employees on occupational safety and health issues, make suggestions for improving the health and safety of employees;
- You will ensure compliance with the requirements of occupational safety and health normative legal acts in the company.
Employee requirements
We invite you to join our team if you:
- You have a higher education;
- You have accumulated at least 1 year of professional experience in the field of occupational safety and health (in the construction sector it would be a big advantage);
- You have the certificates of the person responsible for fire safety and the person responsible for the safety and health of employees;
- You know the legal acts regulating the safety and health of employees, fire safety, the principles of general risk assessment and ensuring employee safety;
- You have excellent skills in working with basic MS Office programs;
- You have a category B driver's license;
- You speak English and Russian;
- You have such personal qualities as - achievement orientation, communication, responsibility, diligence, ability to convey knowledge, quick reaction to problems.
