The role:
As an Accountant (RTR Analyst), you will help drive our goals by:
- Performing day-to-day procedures according to process flow, timeline, service, and quality requirements.
- Preparing monthly, yearly reports.
- Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, investigating variances, and recommending solutions.
- Overseeing the intercompany reconciliation process.
- Reviewing journal entries for compliance and correctness.
- Performing month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and reported on time.
- Participating in the annual financial audit process.
- Ensuring compliance with tax and financial regulations.
- Reviewing, improving, and optimizing accounting processes.
- Contributing to and driving other projects related to various accounting improvement initiatives.
- Performing other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Proven experience in a similar industry within record-to-report or general accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of management accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
- Business-oriented mindset and a keen interest in the field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, processes, and workflow technology.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management.
- Attention to details, responsibility, flexibility, result oriented, analytical, good communication skills.
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
