We’re looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team in Vilnius. This role sits at the core of daily finance operations in a growing company, covering day-to-day accounting processes as well as support for reporting and compliance. You will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records while also helping shape and improve accounting processes as the company evolves. You’ll work across a broad range of tasks, collaborate closely with different teams, and see how accounting connects to business decisions.
We’re looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team in Vilnius. Responsibilities
- Register purchase invoices in the accounting system and ensure data accuracy
- Prepare iSAF reports and review VAT code application across purchases and sales
- Prepare and execute bank payments
- Reconcile and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable balances, including supplier and customer statements
- Prepare selected statistical reports
- Support customs documentation and Intrastat reporting
- Contribute to month-end closing and help ensure the accuracy of financial data
- Support tax reporting and other statutory requirements
- Manage fixed asset accounting
- Support other day-to-day accounting operations
- Take ownership of selected accounting areas and contribute to improving accounting processes and internal controls.
Requirements
- Education in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
- 3-4+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Good understanding of Lithuanian GAAP and tax regulations
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Fluency in Lithuanian and good working proficiency in English
- Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
- Ability to collaborate with different teams and communicate clearly
- Comfortable working in a startup environment where priorities evolve and processes are still being built
- Ownership mindset - taking responsibility for your area and looking for ways to improve it
- Experience in a manufacturing or product-based company is an advantage.
