GET READY TO:
- Take ownership of payroll administration processes and ensure smooth monthly payroll execution;
- Process employee remuneration, bonuses, benefits, taxes, and social insurance contributions with a high level of accuracy;
- Ensure payroll-related data is maintained, validated, and processed in line with legal requirements;
- Prepare and submit mandatory payroll reports and declarations to local authorities;
- Monitor and administer working time records, absences, and other payroll-impacting information;
- Reconcile payroll data and support month-end closing activities;
- Prepare payroll-related reports and provide insights to internal stakeholders when needed;
- Maintain compliance with labor law, payroll, and taxation requirements in Lithuania;
- Responsible for correct accounting book over payroll cost, including correct cost center, capitalization and related controls;
- Support in capitalization documentation process;
- Support internal and external audit process;
- Provide relevant data for the budget process;
- Prepare and control relevant accruals regarding payroll (bonus);
- Support accounting department routines (reconciliation, tax control, documentation);
- Gradually expand your expertise by supporting accounting processes and activities across the Finance department;
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to simplify and optimize payroll processes.
WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Proven experience in payroll administration, payroll accounting, or a similar role;
- Strong knowledge in excel;
- Experience in other accounting areas (e.g. AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, reporting) would be considered an advantage;
- Understanding of Lithuanian labor law, payroll regulations, and taxation principles;
- Experience working with payroll and accounting software;
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy;
- Analytical thinking and a solution-oriented mindset;
- Good command of Lithuanian and English languages.
