What you will be doing
Accounts Payable Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the accounts payable process for the organization. This position requires a detail-oriented and highly organized individual who can handle complex transactions and maintain accurate financial records in the system.
Role requires fluent/intermediate level of French, will be used on a daily basis to support the French team in day to day operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Payable Processing
Process routine AP transactions (coding, posting, cost allocation).
Validate invoice documentation for completeness, approvals, and policy compliance.
Ensure accurate account/cost allocation per guidelines for Transportation & Temporary Labor.
2. Accounting Documentation & Archiving
Collect, track, file, and retrieve AP documents.
Maintain records/archives in line with legal and internal retention requirements (Transportation & Temporary Labor scope).
3. ERP (SAP)
Use SAP to post, track, and review vendor invoices and related entries.
Maintain accurate, complete, and traceable SAP records.
4. Collaboration & Compliance
Work with Finance and stakeholders to resolve invoice issues and missing information.
Follow controls, approval workflows, and deadlines; support period-end activities as needed.

What your background should look like
Education:
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires one (1) + years of experience.
Skills & Knowledge:
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Knowledge of general accounting principles
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
