The Energy and Technology Museum is looking for a colleague who would take care of the museum's café and its daily activities.
A good museum experience consists of many details. One of them is the opportunity to stop by for coffee or tea after an exciting acquaintance with the museum, share your impressions or simply let them settle down.
We are looking for someone who would make sure that the café does not run out of coffee beans, visitors could taste perhaps the most delicious sloth in Vilnius, and with the holidays approaching, we could generate ideas together on what new flavour to surprise the café's visitors with.

Key features:
- Organizes the daily work of the cafe and serves visitors.
- Serves food and drinks, works with the cash register.
- Orders products necessary for the work of the cafe from suppliers, transfers invoices for payment, issues them if necessary and manages the cafe's accounting.
- Updates the menu, offers cafe promotions and cooperates with the museum team in implementing them.
- Provides visitors with information about the cafe, the museum and its activities.
- Ensures the smooth organization of the work of the cafe's employees.
- Takes care of the cleanliness, order and compliance with hygiene requirements of the cafe.
Requirements:
- At least secondary education.
- Good knowledge of Lithuanian and English.
- Experience in similar work.
- Knowledge of hygiene requirements and work-related legislation.
- Knowledge of clerical work and computer skills.
- Willingness to communicate with people and make them feel welcome in the cafe.
We hope that you are proactive, responsible, helpful and able to organize your work independently. It is important to be able to react quickly to various situations, communicate smoothly with visitors and colleagues and notice what could be improved. We are looking for a team member who would help ensure the smooth operation of the café and, together with us, develop new ideas that will help the museum's flavors to unfold even more vividly!

The Museum of Energy and Technology is located near the Karalias Mindaugas bridge, in historical premises - in the old, first power plant of the city of Vilnius, which operated since 1903. until 1998 The main purpose of the institution is to collect, preserve, restore, research, exhibit and promote the history of Lithuanian energy and technology and related events, to set up an exposition and organize other exhibitions and events. The institution, implementing its main goal, carries out activities in the following areas: conducts research and educational work, prepares expositions, exhibitions, publications, excursions, lectures, organizes creative leisure and cultural events, maintains relations with similar organizations of the Republic of Lithuania and other countries, carries out other activities inextricably related to for the purposes of the institution's activities.
