MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- constantly monitor and assess the condition of the aerodrome, ensuring safe conditions for aircraft operations, provide information on the condition of the aerodrome;
- organize and perform aerodrome maintenance work and minor servicing and repair of the equipment used;
- perform measurements of the adhesion coefficient of the surface and, if necessary, take measures to improve it;
- carry out the renewal of the aerodrome surface markings and related work;
- ensure control of wildlife at the aerodrome and apply preventive measures to ensure flight safety;
- control the infrastructure repair work carried out by contractors at the aerodrome.
IMPORTANT FOR THIS POSITION:
- practical work experience in the fields of infrastructure maintenance, engineering, repair or construction;
- efficiency, organization, responsibility, diligence;
- motivation to delve into aerodrome maintenance activities, curiosity;
- not lower than secondary education (acquired professional qualification in the technical field would be a great advantage);
- B category driver's license;
- fluent Lithuanian, basic English;
- ability to work a flexible work schedule (most of the time - during administrative hours, but in cases of substitution - on a shift schedule);
- impeccable reputation according to the requirements of the Law on Aviation of the Republic of Lithuania (checked before employment).
WORK SCHEDULE AND SALARY:
12.40 eur/hour excluding taxes (i.e. on average about 1300 eur/month "in hand"). Also, a variable part of the salary is paid additionally, depending on the implementation of the set goals and quality indicators (on average about 180 eur/month "in hand").
Usually working hours are 8-17 from Monday to Friday, however, if necessary, it is necessary to replace colleagues working on a shift schedule during their illnesses and holidays. Schedule of colleagues working on shifts:
2 working days (7.00-19.00)
2 working nights (19.00-07.00)
4 days off
