Stone Department Coordinator

Charity and support fund "Food Bank" - one of the largest non-governmental organizations in Lithuania. The main goal of our activities is to save as much usable food as possible from being thrown away and distribute it to those in need.
We are looking for a team member who can develop the activities of "Food Bank" in the Akmenė branch. This job offer is intended for those who are looking for meaning in their daily activities and are not afraid of challenges!

What will you need to do?

● Organize the collection of expired food from supermarkets, its sorting and distribution to beneficiaries;
● Organize the distribution of additional support;
● Consult beneficiaries on registration issues;
● Plan the activities of the branch and implement them;
● Carefully keep records of received and distributed support;
● Involve volunteers in the activities of the branch, plan their working hours, train them, coordinate their work;
● Communicate with partners, donors and beneficiaries, resolve any issues;
● Actively participate in the activities of the "Food Bank" and ongoing projects.

Workday schedule:

The workday will begin in Mažeikiai by collecting food from supermarkets
Later, the food will be transported and distributed to Naujoji Akmenė at Ramučių g. 1C

● You are able to independently plan and implement your activities, but at the same time you feel good working in a team;
● You work with a computer (Excel program);
● You are able to organize your own and others' work;
● You are flexible and quickly orient yourself in unexpected situations;
● You like to communicate with people;
● You own and drive a category B car (we provide a car for work);
● Knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
