Nature of work:
- Monitor and analyze electricity prices on the exchange on a daily basis.
- Forecast prices, solar and wind power plant production and other market indicators.
- Analyze how to optimally use BESS: when to load and unload, what balancing and reserve services to provide.
- Prepare reports and market reviews for management and customers.
- Participate in developing analytics tools and automating data collection.
- Monitor regulatory changes (VERT, Litgrid, ENTSO-E, Baltic Balancing Market).
What to expect:
- Higher education in energy, economics, finance, mathematics or engineering.
- At least 1 - 2 years of experience analyzing electricity or other raw material markets.
- Knowledge of the functioning of electricity markets (Nord Pool, balancing market, price zones).
- Good data analysis skills: Excel, SQL. Python or Power BI would be an advantage.
- Analytical thinking and ability to explain complex data clearly.
- Knowledge of Lithuanian, English. Russian, Polish, German - an advantage.
