Nature of work
- supervision of the pricing and revenue determination process, including the collection of necessary information from the Company's divisions, preparation of materials, calculation of service prices, submission of proposals and coordination with the State Energy Regulatory Council;
- analysis of economic, regulatory and performance indicators of the natural gas sector and transmission activities on an international scale, assessment of the Company's operational efficiency and pricing, comparison with the activities of other transmission system operators and preparation of insights and proposals to substantiate decisions;
- improvement of the existing economic regulatory system and formation of new regulatory models for hydrogen, CO₂ transportation and other emerging activities, in cooperation with regulatory authorities and other interested parties at the national and European Union levels;
- assessment of investment projects, regional and other strategic initiatives, conducting cost-benefit, scenario and impact analyses on the Company's revenues, costs and pricing;
- ensuring regulatory compliance – monitoring changes in legal acts, analysis of practices and regulatory decisions of other regulated companies, preparation of feedback on draft legal acts, coordination of the Company's positions, preparation and submission of mandatory information and reports;
- participation in national and international working groups, provision of expert knowledge and the Company's positions on issues of economic regulation and pricing.
Employee requirements
- higher education in economics, finance or engineering;
- work experience in the energy sector, working with regulatory or corporate finance issues;
- analytical and logical thinking, ability to quickly understand energy regulatory requirements, assess their interrelationships and apply them to solve practical issues;
- excellent cooperation and communication skills, ability to work effectively with different departments of the Company, collect and coordinate the necessary information, clearly convey complex information and insights to employees in different areas of activity;
- very good skills in working with the main Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
- excellent knowledge of Lithuanian and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
