Nature of work
We are currently recruiting an analyst to join the market services planning group.
- Planning and data analysis of the balance of the Lithuanian energy system and exchanges with the energy systems of neighboring countries;
- Ensuring the quality of data for electricity system balancing services, working with data exchange optimization, process efficiency, process standardization and development and support of business continuity / fallback mechanisms;
- Participation in the development and implementation of electricity market planning and balancing market development processes, preparing methodologies, documents regulating electricity balancing requirements and developing IT systems, including requirements analysis, testing, UAT, process and data validation;
- Participation in ensuring the daily stable operation of market processes, management of operational situations and incidents and monitoring of activities;
- Analysis, coordination and resolution of customer and market participant appeals according to competence;
- Cooperation with teams of transmission system operators of European countries in the development and implementation of common rules for the provision of energy system balancing and electricity market services;
- Representation of the company in international working groups on issues of balancing market development.
- periodic on-call on weekends, ensuring supervision of market processes and operational response.
Employee requirements
- higher university education in the fields of energy, economics or fundamental sciences (can be a graduate or a master's student);
- work experience in the field of electric power or process automation (would be an advantage);
- very good computer skills, ability to work with data analysis tools in the MS Office package;
- very good written and oral knowledge of English;
- result-oriented, initiative, responsibility, attention to detail;
- ability to learn quickly and work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment;
- analytical, process and systemic thinking, ability to see both the general logic of action and the details;
- ability to act in operational situations, structure information and make decisions when working with critical processes;
- good communication skills, ability to communicate clearly with different stakeholders in Lithuanian and English.
