Job description

We are looking for a responsible Decorator-upholsterer to join the Loss Reduction Department team. In this position, you will take care of furniture assembly, exhibition and store interior maintenance, minor repairs, and accounting for damaged or unsellable goods.

This is a job for someone who likes to work with tools, but also with a computer, is meticulous, responsible and wants to see the result of their work.

Work 40 hours/week - full-time.
Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

What tasks await you?

• Finishing work: wall preparation and painting, floor laying, tile installation;
• Carpenter / cabinetmaker work: assembly and installation of exhibition furniture, inspection of returned goods, fault finding, minor repairs;
• Electrical work: installation of lighting fixtures, minor electrical work;
• Administration of damaged or unsaleable goods – evaluation, preparation for depreciation or write-off, keeping write-off accounting, participation in inventories;
• Balance control and data management – preparation of prices, information entry and computer work;
• Maintaining order in the workplace and compliance with occupational safety requirements.

We expect from you:

• Experience in finishing works (painting, flooring, tiling) and carpentry / furniture work;
• Ability to perform minor repairs and participate in electrical work processes (an advantage is an electrical engineering certificate);
• Ability to work independently, plan work and manage priorities;
• Diligence, responsibility, honesty and attention to detail;
• Interest in home furnishing and decoration, computer literacy (working with accounting, balances, write-offs);
• At least secondary education.
