AB "Kauno grūdai" is looking for an environmental specialist who will not only ensure compliance with requirements, but also contribute to the improvement of environmental processes in one of the largest food and feed production companies in Lithuania.

Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities:
- administer waste accounting in the GPAIS system and cooperate with waste managers;
- supervise the execution and renewal of contracts related to waste management;
- ensure control of the waste sorting process and organize employee training;
- supervise safety data and chemical substance management processes;
- conduct internal environmental audits in production units;
- collect, analyze environmental indicators and prepare reports;
- coordinate the implementation of emission permit requirements and laboratory tests;
- participate in institutional inspections and external audits.
What do we expect from you?
- Higher university education in the field of environmental protection, ecology, chemical engineering;
- Ability to understand and apply the requirements of legal acts, ensuring their compliance in the company's activities;
- Successful work experience in the field of environmental protection;
- Working skills in GPAIS, AIVIKS systems;
- Good computer skills in MS Office;
- Good knowledge of English;
- Ability to organize work and convey information to employees.
