ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST

Klaipėda - UAB „Vlantana“

Your daily responsibilities will be:

  • Organize and conduct monitoring measurements of air, water, wastewater, soil and other pollution sources, analyze the results and prepare mandatory reports;
  • Prepare, coordinate and maintain environmental permits, ensure their timely renewal;
  • Supervision of compliance with pollution permit requirements and orders for laboratory tests;
  • Collection of data on environmental indicators, analysis and preparation of reports;
  • Control the use of chemical substances, check compliance with legal acts, provide recommendations and inform departments about non-compliance;
  • Maintain accounting of waste, packaging and other flows in the GPAIS system, ensure data accuracy and timely submission;
  • Preparation of accounting and use accounts of natural and energy resources, waste management control;
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO standard processes, preparation of documents, participation in audits;
  • Filling out and submitting a questionnaire in the EcoVadis assessment system about the company's environmental, social and ethical performance;

We hope you:

  • Education and/or work experience in the field of environmental protection.
  • Good knowledge of environmental legislation and requirements.
  • Experience in working with environmental permits, GPAIS and reports.
  • Ability to analyze environmental data and ensure its accuracy.
  • Responsibility, diligence and ability to independently organize work.
  • Experience in the field of ISO standards, audits and environmental processes is an advantage.
