Lithuanian-Norwegian UAB "NORVELITA" - one of the largest fish processing companies in Lithuania - is inviting an accountant to join the team.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Administration, verification of primary accounting documents and data entry into accounting systems;
- Work with accounting and business management programs used in the company;
- Collection, systematization and analysis of financial and operational data;
- Preparation of reports, summaries and other analytical data;
- Control of data accuracy and compliance with accounting information;
- Participation in inventories, data processing, results verification and analysis of discrepancies;
- Control of inventories, raw materials, production and other accounting data;
- Cooperation with finance, production, warehouse and other departments of the company;
- Assistance in preparing periodic financial and operational reports.
Employee requirements
- Higher or higher education in finance, accounting, economics or a similar field;
- Good computer skills;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to work with larger amounts of data;
- Experience working with accounting or business management programs;
- Analytical thinking, diligence and attention to detail;
- Ability to independently organize one's work and meet deadlines;
- Knowledge of accounting principles;
- Experience working in a manufacturing company is a great advantage;
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV ("Navision") is an advantage.
