Your main responsibilities:
- Accounting for purchases and sales: Control and registration of primary documents, ensuring accurate allocation of costs and income according to departments, activities and project dimensions.
- Tax administration: Data provision to the i.SAF system, VAT control and declaration preparation.
- Report preparation: Preparation of information for management.
- Financial operations: Preparation of daily payments and accounting of cash transactions.
- Control: Reconciliation and verification of analytical data with General Ledger (GD) account balances.
- Period closing and audit: Active participation in month/year closing procedures, inventories and audits.
- Active involvement in team work by replacing colleagues responsible for fixed asset accounting and other areas.
What do we expect from you:
- Higher university or higher/higher college education in the fields of economics, finance or accounting.
- At least 2 (two) years of professional work experience as an accountant.
- Excellent knowledge of the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating accounting and taxes.
- Excellent working skills with the MS Office program package, you are an advanced user of MS Excel.
- Practical experience working with various accounting programs (advantage: knowledge of the “Rivile” program).
- Excellent analytical skills necessary for information management, accumulation, systematization, generalization and presentation of substantiated conclusions.
- Very good Lithuanian language skills (written and oral).
- Extraordinary attention to detail, thoroughness, responsibility and receptivity to information.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team.
