We are currently looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Accountant who would strengthen our accounting team.

We are currently looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Accountant who would strengthen our accounting team.
Your main responsibilities:
- Accounting for fixed assets: complex management of fixed assets, depreciation calculation, revaluation of values, control of investment projects.
- Control of general ledger account balances, verification and declaration of tax data (profit tax, real estate tax, etc.).
- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Classification of lease agreements, valuation, discounting and ongoing control of right-of-use assets and lease liabilities in accordance with IFRS 16.
- Active communication with external auditors, data substantiation, preparation of explanatory notes and implementation of audit recommendations.
- Evaluation, calculation and recognition of provisions in financial statements.
- Ability to ensure smooth work of the accounting department and continuity of processes in the absence of the Accounting Team Leader.
- Active participation in automating and digitizing accounting processes to increase data processing efficiency.
What do we expect from you:
- Higher university or higher/higher college education in the fields of economics, finance or accounting.
- At least 3-5 years of work experience as a senior accountant (in a large company or audit firm - a great advantage).
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating accounting and taxes.
- Excellent working skills with the MS Office program package, you are an advanced user of MS Excel.
- Practical experience working with various accounting programs (advantage: knowledge of the "Rivile" program).
- Initiative and experience in optimizing and automating daily accounting processes.
- Excellent analytical skills necessary for information management, accumulation, systematization, generalization and providing substantiated conclusions.
- Very good Lithuanian language skills (written and oral).
- Strategic thinking, independence and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
