Nature of work
- Organize and control the company's accounting process in accordance with applicable laws, the company's accounting policy and internal documents.
- Organize and control the accounting of raw materials, basic and auxiliary materials, packaging materials, direct labor, production overheads, work in progress and manufactured products.
- Ensure control of inventory accounting data and actual warehouse balances.
- Organize the accounting of buyers' and suppliers' debts and their periodic reconciliation.
- Ensure the mutual compatibility of revenue recognition and cost of goods sold/production accounting.
- Prepare or coordinate the cash flow statement and cash flow summaries required by management.
- Organize the accounting of long-term tangible and intangible assets.
- Control the allocation of payroll costs to production, administration and other areas of activity in accordance with the methodology established in the company.
- Ensure correct calculation, declaration and payment of taxes within the established deadlines.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and financial summaries required by management.
- Participate in preparing the company's annual budget, financial plans and forecasts.
- Ensure correct entry and control of accounting data in the ERP system used.
- Organize the work of subordinate accounting employees and distribute tasks.
- Cooperate with external auditors, tax administrator, statistical institutions, banks and other institutions.
Employee requirements
- Higher education in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a chief accountant; experience in a manufacturing company is an advantage.
- Practical knowledge of production accounting, inventory, cost, work in progress and cost of goods sold.
- Knowledge of financial and management accounting, taxes and financial reporting.
- Experience working with an ERP system, including MS Navision / Dynamics or a similar system.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to work with data arrays.
- English language skills (B2 level)
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, diligence, responsibility and attention to detail.
- Ability to plan work, meet reporting deadlines and cooperate with other departments.
- Confidentiality, high standards of professional ethics and ability to work in an intensive production environment.
