In this position, you will become a key link ensuring the smooth and efficient work of the finance department. Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of areas, from daily accounting supervision to strategic decisions. You will be responsible for:
Comprehensive accounting management: You will organize and supervise full accounting for companies of various sizes, ensuring the accuracy and correctness of data. You will take care of the calculation and payment of taxes, the accuracy and timeliness of reports submitted to state institutions.
Preparation of financial transactions and reports: You will organize and maintain company accounting. You will have to prepare monthly, annual and other financial reports, including a full set of financial statements.
Process efficiency and automation: You will actively participate in data management projects, cooperate with company departments and IT teams to automate and improve accounting processes. You will analyze existing procedures, identify areas for improvement and provide suggestions for increasing efficiency.
Quality assurance and team development: You will conduct internal accounting audits. You will lead the accounting team, supervise its work, consult and provide methodological assistance. You will take care of employee development, organize training and promote knowledge sharing, as well as resolve emerging problems.

Expectations for candidates
We are looking for a leader who not only has excellent knowledge of accounting, but also has strategic thinking, is able to effectively lead a team and contribute to the growth of the company.
Higher education in accounting, finance or economics.
At least 5 years of experience in accounting.
At least 2 years of management experience working in a team.
Work experience in an audited company.
Knowledge:
Excellent knowledge of the application of VAT law in the EU and Lithuanian context.
Experience with specific accounting areas: accounting for loans, interest, overdraft, leasing.
Ability to independently prepare a full set of financial statements (balance sheet, profit (loss) statement, explanatory note, statements of changes in equity and cash flow).
Understanding of business processes: Deep knowledge in the fields of finance and accounting.
Skills: Excellent analytical, critical thinking, communication and information management skills, summarization and presentation of conclusions. Ability to work smoothly both independently and in a team.
Computer literacy: Excellent Excel skills.
Languages: Good English skills (verbal and written).
Advantages:

Experience with e-commerce, manufacturing, transport or trading companies.
Ability to prepare consolidated financial statements and/or knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Ability to conduct training and share knowledge with the team.
