About us:
The Accounting Department of the Jonava District Educational Support Service is responsible for the centralized organization of accounting of budgetary institutions in the Jonava district.
The department ensures accounting, preparation of financial statements, preparation of estimates and control of implementation, in accordance with the requirements of legal acts.

Nature of work:
- Manage the accounting of assigned institutions in accordance with Public Sector Accounting Standards and legal acts.
- Register and account for assets, liabilities, income and expenses, calculate asset depreciation.
- Prepare financial statements, payment applications, bank transfers.
- Ensure timely transfer of income and funds and perform ongoing financial control.
Requirements:
- have at least a higher university education with a bachelor's degree or equivalent education or higher college education with a professional bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
- have an accounting, accounting, economic, financial, mathematical, business study field education or at least 2 years of professional work experience in the fields of financial management and/or accounting
- know and be able to apply in practical work the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, Government resolutions and other legal acts regulating the accounting of public sector entities, financial control, tax administration, legal protection of personal data and provision of information;
- MS Office skills, ability to analyze data and independently organize work.
