HEAD OF ARCHITECTURE DEPARTMENT

We are currently inviting a Head of Architecture to join the Sweco community!

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:

• You will shape the direction of architecture and actively contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities for the development of activities and services
• You will ensure the smooth operation of the department - plan activities, organize team work and achieve results
• You will oversee the implementation of architectural projects from concept to implementation
• You will make decisions in complex situations, manage risks and ensure project deadlines and budget
• You will be a strong team leader: you will inspire, mobilize and grow a team of architects, create a culture of high competence and cooperation
• You will actively contribute to team building - attracting, developing and integrating new colleagues
• You will build long-term relationships with clients and be a reliable partner throughout the project
• You will collaborate with other teams and partners to achieve the best solutions for the client

CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS

• Higher architectural education and certificate
• At least 7 years of work experience in the field of design
• Successful experience in leading a team and implementing architectural projects
• Strategic thinking and the ability to see the “bigger picture”
• Leadership, strong communication and decision-making skills
• Result-oriented, customer-oriented and team-oriented
• Good command of English (verbal and written)
• Personal qualities: openness to change, proactivity, involvement, cooperation, ability to work in a team
