In this position, you will take personal responsibility for assigned assortment initiatives — from business need formulation to working solution. This is not a support analytical role: you will work independently, define problems, develop requirements and ensure that initiatives are implemented in line with the company's business transformation goals. You will work closely with the Assortment Strategy Manager and cross-functional teams — commerce, purchasing, sales, IT.
Your responsibilities:
- Formulate business need and problem definition in assigned assortment areas — identifying what needs to be addressed and why, before moving on to analysis.
- Perform strategic assortment analysis — sales dynamics, turnover, category profitability, and balance structure — and translate it into concrete, implementation-ready solutions.
- Prepare business requirements and solution specifications for assigned initiatives, ensuring their alignment with the company’s business transformation goals.
- Manage the assigned scope of a project or initiative from analysis to a working solution — coordinating with cross-teams and taking responsibility for the result.
- Develop and maintain assortment monitoring systems, ensuring that indicators reflect real business goals, not just data flow.
- Identify slow-moving items, suboptimal assortment depth, or gaps in supplier structure and initiate corrective actions — not just recording problems.
- Collaborate with commercial, procurement and sales teams, ensuring that analytical insights are translated into implemented changes.
We hope you have:
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, purchasing or assortment management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to extract business insights from large amounts of data.
- Experience working with Excel and BI tools; SQL knowledge is an advantage.
- Ability to present analytical findings in a structured and clear manner to different audiences.
- Diligence and critical thinking.
- Excellent knowledge of English (verbal and written).
